BAKU [species reference- more info added]

LONG AWAITED REF FOR BAKUS! this was a monster to finish but I am very content with the result :3c
ahahaha I will be adding backstory/information when I hash it out more (there is some written on the actual sheet so)

Species name: baku
Average Size: average baku is the size of a small child
Abilities: eat dreams and often plant nightmares; certain subspecies have traits unique to their strand
Disposition: average disposition is mischievous; they are well-known tricksters, though there are occurrences when some bakus may show more affection than others (bakus are hardly ever dangerous)
Controlling a Baku: to control a baku, you need to seal their power; by controlling one, you can plant dreams in people or even make your own dreams more pleasant; behemoths and robakus are the hardest to control, and only someone very strong can master them

{DIFFERENT STATES}

dream state
-in order to conserve/regain energy, many bakus disguise themselves as children's toys
-they can easily feed off the imaginative dreams of children
-many bakus who are often in this state will protect their child by eating nightmares and planting happy dreams (they are often know as "domestic" bakus)

behemoth state

-bakus who fall into this state are seen as cursed and often called "the Fallen"
-if a baku is under extreme stress, this state may occur (many who enter it are those who have lost their masters)
-this state is non-reversible, and most bakus do not survive long after entering it
-VERY RARELY will a baku survive in this state, and they become mindless creatures who devour dreams and the life force of their prey 
-behemoths can be more dangerous than even robakus and should be avoided at all costs
